What to expect when working with Spire
What happens in the first meeting?
The first meeting is about understanding you and your goals, concerns, and current situation. We’ll talk through what you want to achieve, explain how we work, and outline your options clearly. There’s no pressure and no obligation to proceed.
Do you charge for advice?
We don’t charge upfront fees for insurance or KiwiSaver advice. If we receive commission from a provider, this is fully disclosed so you understand exactly how we’re paid.
Can everything be done online?
Yes. Meetings, applications, and reviews can all be handled via phone or video call, wherever you’re based. If in-person meetings are preferred, we can discuss options.
Who do you typically work with?
We work with individuals, families, and professionals who want clear, thoughtful financial advice without the sales pressure. Many of our clients are busy professionals looking for guidance they can trust and revisit over time.
Will you help me if I ever need to make a claim?
Yes. If you hold a policy through us, we’ll support you through the claims process and deal with the insurer on your behalf, so you’re not navigating it alone.
Can I review or change my advice later?
Absolutely. As your life changes, your advice should too. We’re here to review and adjust your cover or strategy as your circumstances evolve.
Can you work with self-employed or business owners?
Yes. We regularly work with contractors and business owners and understand the challenges of variable income, business risk, and long-term planning.
